A woman with long, coiled hair sits at a wooden table, smiling and holding her hand to her chest while speaking with another person whose arm and shoulder are visible.

The word somatic comes from the Greek word soma, meaning the living body.

Somatic coaching is an approach that works with both the body and the mind. Rather than relying on thinking alone, it invites you to connect with your emotions, sensations, intuition, and deeper knowing.

Our bodies hold experiences, patterns, and wisdom that often sit beyond words. By learning to listen to them, we can make choices that feel more aligned, grounded, and sustainable

What is somatic coaching?

We often try to solve challenges by thinking harder.

But lasting change doesn't happen through the mind alone.

Your nervous system, breath, posture, emotions, and physical sensations all hold valuable information about how you're experiencing the world. Somatic coaching helps you access this intelligence so you can respond with greater awareness and clarity.

What happens in a session?

Each session begins with a conversation about what's present for you.

Alongside reflective coaching questions, I'll invite you to slow down and notice what's happening in your body. We may explore breath, grounding practices, gentle movement, imagery, or moments of quiet reflection to deepen your awareness.

There is no pressure to perform or get it "right." Your body sets the pace.

Together, we create a space where you can explore what's emerging and discover new possibilities together. My role is a guide by your side.

What can somatic coaching support?

Somatic coaching can help you:

  • Navigate life and career transitions

  • Develop embodied leadership and confidence

  • Work with stress, overwhelm, and burnout

  • Build resilience and emotional awareness

  • Reconnect with creativity and purpose

  • Make decisions that feel aligned with your values

  • Strengthen your relationship with yourself and others

You might be here because…

  • You are experiencing a career pivot or change

  • You are in the midst of a life-work transition

  • You are recovering from burnout

  • You are stepping into a your first leadership position

  • You are returning to work after a period of leave

You might be ready to bring your body into the conversation when setting goals or making decisions, trusting that alignment comes not from forcing, but from feeling.

What to Expect

Through our work together, you’ll:

  • Learn to listen to your body’s cues and signals

  • Reconnect with rest and rhythm

  • Build self-trust from the inside out

  • Develop a more sustainable, nourishing relationship with life and work

We may not know exactly where the path leads, but you won’t walk it alone.

Coaching offers and working together

  • Coaching 1:1

My coaching offers are designed to meet you where you are — whether you need a small amount of focused support around a particular challenge, or more consistent space for deeper work and change.

    1:1 Short-Term Coaching — from £110 per session

    60 minutes · 1–2 sessions · no ongoing commitment

This is my lowest-commitment coaching option, designed for those who want dedicated space to work through a particular challenge, decision, transition or goal without committing to longer-term coaching.

You can book one or two individual sessions as needed.

I offer this option because I don't want coaching to become a barrier to getting the support you need. It gives you the opportunity to access focused 1:1 support when it feels useful, without needing to enter into a longer coaching relationship.

    Coaching Packages — £90 per 60-minute session

    £90 per 60-minute session - booked as a package

For ongoing coaching, sessions are booked as a block package, allowing us to create the continuity and space needed for deeper work.

Packages can be arranged around the rhythm that works best for you — whether that is weekly, fortnightly or monthly.

We'll use the coaching space to explore what is happening for you beneath the surface, work with your nervous system and embodied experience, and support you to move towards the changes or goals that matter to you.

    Constellation Coaching

I also offer 90-minute Constellation Coaching sessions for individuals wanting to explore patterns, relationships or systemic dynamics in greater depth.

Please enquire for more information and pricing.

Kind words from coachees

“Choosing to start coaching with Imani is one of the best decisions I have made for me and my company. Imani held space for me as a busy entrepreneur who feels frazzled more often than not; I had lost myself in my business and Imani helped me prioritise myself, but most of all my wellbeing, all without compromising growth.”

Jess Hellens, CEO Wild CoWorking

“The way that Imani has supported me to figure out what I truly want, and how I want to get there is gentle and kind whilst still offering accountability between calls. Looking at the worksheets I filled in at the start and end of our journey is quite emotional! I feel more in tune with myself, my needs, my goals, and how my work and personal life can be more balanced. ”

Celie Nigoumi, Photographer & Mentor

“She gives me space to find answers that feel true and not rushed and she guides me to question my perspective to really get clear on what I want and why, and the potential barriers that we can then find ways to overcome. I came into coaching wanting to feel more grounded and I can honestly say it's working.”

Chloe Burroughs, Study skills expert

“Imani has created a warm, non-judgemental and encouraging space for me to share my challenges, ambitions and vulnerabilities. It's been so helpful for me to receive her mix of expertise across traditional coaching, somatic methods and mentoring - I feel more confident and clear and less isolated on my self-employed journey. I really value the somatic nature of Imani's coaching - what I want for my business is rooted in my heart and my gut as much as my thinking brain. She's helped me tap into all of those places to develop my vision, strategy and approaches.”

Kahra, Wayland-Larty, Founder and Director of Soulwork & Co.

“Imani's presence and energy is wonderful, it demands a level of honesty and gentleness with self that allows for clarity and perspective to arrive subtly and slowly. This has changed the way in which I view the complexity of my life and being able to ease into transition.”
