About Me

I'm Imani, a Black British woman of Caribbean heritage, born and raised in the West Midlands. I grew up in a wonderfully matriarchal family system, which probably explains why my first business centred on the empowerment of women and girls and the transformative power of relationships.

Today, I live in Birmingham with my husband and our toddler. I love tea (and a good mocha, despite hating coffee), laughing until my stomach hurts, and conversations that leave us a little different than when they began.

Like all of us, I am shaped by the people, places, experiences, and communities that have shaped my journey. Some stories have been passed down to me, some I have consciously chosen, and others I am still learning from. I feel particularly drawn to working alongside those navigating the complexities of social injustice; people doing meaningful, often challenging work who want to create change while also finding ways to care for themselves.

My Work

I'm a trauma-informed somatic coach, facilitator, and systems change practitioner. My work sits at the intersection of social justice, wellbeing, and embodied leadership, supporting people to lead, live, and work in ways that are more aligned, grounded, and sustainable.

I’m currently completing my 200-hour trauma-informed yoga teacher training, which continues to deepen my understanding of the body as a place of wisdom, resilience, and transformation.

I’m curious about relationships and belonging—particularly the tension between fitting in and truly belonging, and how we choose to take up space, or not. I’m interested in the ways our bodies, relationships, and environments shape how we move through the world.

I believe wellbeing cannot be separated from the wider social, organisational, and cultural contexts we live and work within.

At the heart of my work is a belief that meaningful change happens when we reconnect with ourselves, strengthen our relationships, and create the conditions for more just and sustainable ways of being together.

My coaching and facilitation are rooted in embodiment, relational practice, and experiential learning. Together, we'll explore not just what's happening in your mind, but how your body holds patterns, responds to challenge, and points towards new possibilities.

I draw on established body-centred, trauma-informed, and systemic approaches to support nervous system resilience, helping you cultivate more presence, creativity, joy, and choice in how you live, work, and lead.

No two sessions are the same. Rather than offering quick fixes or one-size-fits-all solutions, I create reflective and creative experiences that help you discover your own insights. You might be invited to explore the seeds you want to sow, the footprints you want to leave behind, what keeps you grounded, or the thorns that are holding you back. My sessions are spacious, practical, and gently challenging. Alongside conversation, we may work with embodied awareness, breathwork, movement, visualisation, creative reflection, metaphor, or nature-based practices—always at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

Together, we'll strengthen your capacity to navigate change, deepen your self-awareness, and move forward with greater clarity, confidence, and connection to what matters most.

🌱 Seed – Intention & Vision

Everything begins with a seed. This pillar is about clarifying your intention, reconnecting with your why, and aligning your vision with your body’s wisdom — before rushing into action.

👣 Footprints – Nervous System Mapping & Somatic Awareness

Footprints represent where you've been and how your system has adapted. Here, we explore patterns, nervous system states, and your personal history, helping you track your responses and make embodied choices.

Anchor – Regulation & Resourcing

This pillar is about finding safety and support within. We cultivate somatic anchors and build nervous system capacity, so you can return to groundedness, even in uncertainty or growth.

🌵 Thorns – Challenges & Protective Patterns

Thorns show us where we’re protecting something tender. Here, we gently meet resistance, self-sabotage, or burnout — not as blocks, but as signals from the body asking for attention, care, and integration.
