Hi! Welcome

Imani Clough-Brown
She/Her
Somatic Coach | Consultant | Facilitator
200+ coaching hours

I'm Imani, a Coach facilitator and trauma informed yoga teacher working at the intersection of social justice, wellbeing and embodied leadership.

I support individuals, teams and communities to navigate complexity, strengthen relationships, and create meaningful change, that feels aligned and grounded.

My work brings together an integrative somatic approach with systems thinking - inviting head, heart, hands and place into the conversation. Whether I'm coaching an individual, facilitating a leadership team, or designing a learning experience, I create thoughtful, creative and experiential spaces where people can slow down, notice patterns, deepen awareness, and discover new possibilities.

My practice is shaped by both lived and learned experience. I understand the tension between purpose and pace—and how easy it is to lose ourselves while trying to create change. I believe leadership begins with our relationship to ourselves, and that sustainable change happens when we honour both our wellbeing and our commitment to justice.

When we slow down enough to listen, new ways of leading, relating, and living become possible.

If you'd like to explore how we might work together, I'd love to hear from you. Get in touch to arrange an alignment call.

What do people say…

“She gives me space to find answers that feel true and not rushed and she guides me to question my perspective to really get clear on what I want and why, and the potential barriers that we can then find ways to overcome. I came into coaching wanting to feel more grounded and I can honestly say it's working.”

Chloe Burroughs, Study skills expert

“Choosing to start coaching with Imani is one of the best decisions I have made for me and my company. Imani held space for me as a busy entrepreneur who feels frazzled more often than not; I had lost myself in my business and Imani helped me prioritise myself, but most of all my wellbeing, all without compromising growth.”

Jess Hellens, CEO Wild CoWorking

“Imani has created a warm, non-judgemental and encouraging space for me to share my challenges, ambitions and vulnerabilities. It's been so helpful for me to receive her mix of expertise across traditional coaching, somatic methods and mentoring - I feel more confident and clear and less isolated on my self-employed journey. I really value the somatic nature of Imani's coaching - what I want for my business is rooted in my heart and my gut as much as my thinking brain. She's helped me tap into all of those places to develop my vision, strategy and approaches.”

Kahra, Wayland-Larty, Founder and Director of Soulwork & Co.

“The way that Imani has supported me to figure out what I truly want, and how I want to get there is gentle and kind whilst still offering accountability between calls. Looking at the worksheets I filled in at the start and end of our journey is quite emotional! I feel more in tune with myself, my needs, my goals, and how my work and personal life can be more balanced. ”

Celie Nigoumi, Photographer & Mentor

“Imani's presence and energy is wonderful, it demands a level of honesty and gentleness with self that allows for clarity and perspective to arrive subtly and slowly. This has changed the way in which I view the complexity of my life and being able to ease into transition.”

Ways to work together

  • Coaching

As a Somatic Coach, I work with the intelligence of the body. My integrative approach combines embodied practice with reflective inquiry, supporting people to navigate life's transitions with greater clarity.

Some decisions can't be made through thinking alone. They ask us to slow down, tune into our bodies, and listen to the wisdom that exists beyond words. I create space for this through coaching that weaves together somatic awareness, breathwork, meditation, grounding practices, and meaningful conversation.

I often work with people navigating career transitions, creative blocks, parenthood, leadership, or periods of personal and professional change.

  • Align, don't hustle dojo

This is a space to pause, reconnect and practise living in alignment with your body's natural rhythms. There is nothing to achieve here and nothing to get right. Simply listen, move, reflect and notice what you discover. Return to these resources whenever you need a reminder to choose alignment over hustle. You can expect podcasts, journal prompts, somatic movement practices. The Align Don't Hustle Dojo is a private resource library, exclusively available to coaching clients.

  • Facilitation and Consultancy

As a facilitator, I create spaces where teams and groups can learn, reflect, and grow together. Drawing on my Three Horizons Facilitator training and years of experience working with purpose-driven start-ups, educational organisations, and community groups, I design engaging and participatory learning experiences that build connection, collaboration, and new ways of thinking.

As a consultant, I partner with organisations to navigate complexity, work across difference, and lead meaningful change.

I like to bring an embodied approach to my work, I often weave in approaches that support people to uncover what matters most to enable people and organisations to learn, adapt, and thrive.

If you’re looking for a facilitator, coach, or collaborator rooted in community and care, I’d love to connect with you.

Whether you’re shaping a new project, building community, or moving through a season of change — I support you to create spaces and ways of living that nurture collective well-being, alignment and shared purpose.
